About
UBOAT is a simulator of a submarine from the WWII era. It is an indie game that also falls under the action, RPG, strategy, and simulation genres. The game was developed by Deep Water Studio and published by PlayWay S.A. It was released on April 30, 2019. UBOAT is a survival sandbox with crew management mechanics. The primary theme of the game is the life of German sailors. The boat serves as both their home and potential grave. Players control the crew to manage the submarine. It's important to look after their physical and mental health because if they are hungry, tired, or low in spirit, even a small skirmish could be lost. The extensive damage system is a key part of the game's survival elements. Unforeseen situations can arise due to damage, testing players' creativity and ability to remain calm. Players can attempt to save the whole submarine or make difficult decisions based on the situation. Completing the main story takes approximately 38 hours. If you include extra content, it will take around 46 hours. A completionist playthrough could take up to 698 hours.
