About
We Were Here is an indie adventure game developed and published by Total Mayhem Games that was released on February 3, 2017. The title belongs to the action genre and also incorporates puzzle elements within its gameplay structure. Players can experience this cross-platform title using controller support for a more traditional input method. The core feature of the experience is co-op play designed specifically for multi-player sessions where two people must work together. One participant remains trapped in an isolated section of an abandoned castle while the other explores the hallways to locate them. Communication between the two players is restricted entirely to voice chat through a walkie-talkie device. The main story length for the game is approximately two hours, which also represents the time needed for the main story plus extras. A completionist playthrough extends the total duration to three hours as players explore all available content. The setting places the duo in a frozen wasteland where they must find their way out before time runs out.
