About
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is an adventure title developed and published by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. that was released on March 24, 2017. This single-player experience brings together the award-winning escape-the-room visual novels Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and its sequel Virtue's Last Reward. The collection presents both the original Nonary Game and the Nonary Game: Ambidex Edition in a remastered format. Players can explore these stories as they were originally designed while enjoying updated presentation elements. The narrative begins when nine individuals are kidnapped and transported to an unfamiliar location by an enigmatic mastermind known as Zero. These strangers are forced to participate in a diabolical game where their lives are at stake. The plot raises questions about why the group was selected and who among them can be trusted. As the situation grows more dire, tensions rise within the group. The characters must work together to figure out how to escape before they wind up dead. The main story runs for approximately 34 hours of gameplay. If players choose to engage with all available extras, the total playtime extends to 41 hours. Those seeking a completionist run can expect to spend around 51 hours exploring the full content. The game offers a substantial amount of material for fans of the genre who wish to experience both titles in one package.
