With assistance from Lady Dugu, the group attempts to collect artifacts to stop Prime Minister Yuwen Tuo's conspiracy but becomes involved in a larger conflict. The game world includes historical cities like Daliang and Jiangdu alongside mythical locations such as the Giant Sea of Mermaids and the Demon Realm of Central Plains.Players can utilize the Refine Spirit Pot to capture certain enemies and combine different items to create new ones with varying effects. The attribute system relies on traditional Chinese concepts where characters and spells possess properties like metal, wood, water, fire, or earth. When attributes clash, attacks deal greater damage, while compatible attributes produce different outcomes within the turn-based combat system.
