About
ZED ZONE is an action indie RPG and simulation title published by INDIECN and developed by Leven Liu, released on March 29, 2023. The game offers a single-player experience where the player character crashes and becomes trapped in a zone overrun by zombies and monsters after a great catastrophe. To escape this dangerous environment, you must collect materials, upgrade skills, build shelters, defeat zombie waves, and fight mysterious mechs while chasing a glimmer of hope. The open world allows for exploration using vehicles that feature realistic driving physics simulations with detailed parameters such as vehicle type, speed, power, and gear ratio. Players are required to maintain their car by repairing damage, refueling, charging the battery, and ensuring proper tires are in place. This management aspect ensures that your transportation remains functional throughout your journey through the infected areas. The game introduces special infected enemies with distinct behaviors and origins. One type is a blaster who was previously a patient diagnosed with an eating disorder before the incident, now capable of exploding and leaving a poisonous area around them. Another enemy is a spitter that used to be a human suffering from lung or stomach disease; after infection, its organs secrete venom continuously. These creatures add variety to the threats you face while trying to survive in the Zed Zone.
