Seems like some of the Arena Breakout Infinite player base have been getting up to shenanigans – and not the harmless kind. At least, that’s the case if the latest post on the free-to-play shooter’s Steam page is anything to go by. Today, the developer dropped a ‘Ten “Don’ts” in Arena Breakout Infinite” post, listing things that players shouldn’t do in the game – which also happen to be things I’m pretty sure players know they shouldn’t do in the game.
That said, the post isn’t just a list of what not to do. It also includes links to information on things like a list of banned software and hardware, various announcements about game policies, and detailed information on penalties for engaging in these activities. Should you wish to dig into the fine details, you can find all the links in question on the post on Steam.
As for what’s in the list, it’s all perfectly sensible. Don’t use hacks unless you like risking a 10-year account ban. The same goes for certain scripts and tools. Don’t make your own hacks and certainly don’t distribute them. The next two involve how players team up. They’re asked to not knowingly for teams with cheaters or to “illegally” team up. That involves things like two teams cooperating to take down another team.
Of course, the list includes the standard bit about not taking advantage of game bugs and not using RTM services. The last three items on the list address the more social aspects of the game asking players to not engage in “negative in-game behavior, to not harass other players, and to not share accounts. Again, it’s all things we know we shouldn’t be doing. However, despite the obvious nature of these rules, the post is still a good reference source.
