This single-player title lets players shape the dynasty of a ruling medieval family rather than managing individual villagers daily. You deal with whole families and their descendants to see them evolve and interact within your settlement. The core experience involves building homes, farms, and workshops while assigning tasks, duties, and taxes to create a flourishing town. Players can expand a production chain using over 90 resources across nearly 20 different zones and professions. You will also work with the church, train an army for the king, and negotiate with groups of villagers through their heads. The game features more than 70 objects available to build, decorate, and improve your settlement alongside various domesticated animals to tame and care for. A fully simulated procedurally generated environment uses complex AI to create relationships and develop character traits among your people. Visually distinct seasons are accompanied by a soundtrack designed around seasonal themes, with future updates planned for weather conditions and soil quality simulations. At the heart of its design is an emotional journey where you watch villagers grow, evolve, and face struggles to shape their stories. You collect taxes from your villagers to secure reserves, maintain balance, and pay the royal tax imposed on your land. This approachable yet complex simulation allows you to influence the daily lives of villagers while making important decisions as a ruler.
