ArenaNet Teasing Summer Game Fest Announcement

Here we go! The big highlight of Summer Game Fest – you know, the one we watch for all the trailers – is only four days away, and that means some of the developers who will be attending are teasing their announcements in an effort to make sure players will be watching.

One such developer is ArenaNet, developer of the popular Guild Wars MMORPG IP. Yesterday, the dev dropped teasers on Bluesky, Twitter, and other places. As you’d expect, the posts are pretty vague, consisting of a video with fantasy vibes, a date, and a small description. The one on Bluesky didn’t even mention Summer Game Fest by name. Instead, the devs went with “The wind sirs. The world shifts. Stand ready.” Twitter, on the other hand, was more direct, saying “Stand ready – and tune into Summer Game Fest on 06/05/2026. Big things in the #games industry are brewing. Will you be watching?”

I’m sure most of us will be. Now, Guild Wars fans just have an additional reason to watch.
