Mark your calendars for August 26-30. Gamescom is on the way and NC is going to be there showing off Aion 2, Cinder City, and something called “Project Bonfire”. The first two, I’m sure you’re at least a little familiar with. After all, we’ve written a few things about Aion 2 (not surprising since they plan to drop Early Access on September 30 for those who bought the MMORPG’s Founder’s Pack). And NC announced signups for Cinder City’s pre-alpha playtest a little over a week ago. So, players should be able to experience the game sometime soon.
But Project Bonfire. That’s new. So new, in fact that if you do a search for it, what comes up is some sort of online community/social media thing. That shouldn’t be too surprising since NC states they’ll be revealing the debut trailer during Opening Night Live (where they’ll also be featuring the other two titles). The trailer will offer attendees and those of us watching the stream a look at the game’s concept’s and features. What we do have right now is the image they sent us and a trailer that more or less indicate the game is another shooter of some type.
As for the other two games, NC didn’t state what they’ll be showing for Aion 2. But it’ll likely have something to do with the upcoming launch. Those interested in Cinder City will be happy to know that a new trailer will offer a look at the shooter’s storytelling and setting.
