Bungie dropped another This Week in Destiny post today, covering all the things that are happening in Destiny 2. The bulk of the post is a list of changes coming in the August 8.0.5 update. Mostly this consists of balancing, reward updates, and the like – especially for the shooter's PvP content.
When the update hits, players can expect more popular maps to be weighted higher, lobby balance to be improved, and an update to the quitter systems. If things go as planned, the system should be kinder to players who rarely quit, while being more restricted to those who just can’t stop themselves from quitting.
The post also has a fun announcement for art fans. It seems that Destiny art is going on tour. Starting in Los Angeles in September, ten years' worth of Bungie art will be on display for a limited time. It’s a tour of sorts, so once the show is over in Los Angeles, it will move to New York and then to London. Those near Los Angeles will want to mark their calendars for September 14-22. New York will host the exhibit between October 17 and October 20. Finally, the tour will end in London, England, and run from November 6 to November 10.
