Free RTS game Stormgate sets a date for campaign launch and early access exit

The elevator pitch for Stormgate has always been an enticing one - a free-to-play RTS that’s a spiritual successor to Starcraft thanks to the numerous ex-Blizzard devs helping create it. However, when it launched in early access last year, it came with a fair few kinks that needed ironing out. Well, after almost a year of toil, Frost Giant Studios says it’s ready to take Stormgate out of early access - and drop its long-awaited debut campaign, Ashes of Earth. You haven’t got long to wait for these landmark moments either, as both will occur on Tuesday, August 5.
