Phantasy Star Online 2 – the OG version – is turning 12. To celebrate the game’s birthday, Sega is hosting the Super Phantasy Festival in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. During the event, the MMORPG's Central City will be lit up and Region Mags will be decorated. The game will also play host to Ceremo Rappies. Players can find them running around all over Halpha.

The festival will run from July 3 to July 31, giving players plenty of time to earn all the sweet anniversary rewards. There will be several campaigns throughout the event to take part in. Players will be tasked with helping Xiandy investigate the movements of enemies throughout Halpha, particularly an organism known as Lillipans.
