All Star Trek fans know that the Terran Empire that exists within the Mirror Universe is what the Federation could become if it caved to its baser instincts. Luckily for those living in the Federation’s universe, they’ve managed to avoid that, although that’s not to say there isn’t always room for improvement.
Part of avoiding becoming the Terran Empire is fighting off the Empire any time they appear, which is exactly what players will be doing during Star Trek Online’s Reflections of Empire event. The MMORPG's event features Mirror Universe-themed TFOs for players to do daily. These include raiding the Terran Empire’s Star Fortress, defending against an invasion of Deep Space 9, or an attack on Jupiter Station. Another will have players helping to send Terok Nor back to the Mirror Universe.
Players can complete the TFO of their choice daily. Over a period of 14 days, they will earn progress toward the Grand Prize, which includes the Universal Agony Phaser Torpedo Assault Platform Console, 3 TFO Reward Boxes, and 25,000 Dilithium Ore.
The event kicks off on PC today and will run for three weeks, meaning players should have more than enough time to earn their rewards. Console players should expect the event to be available on August 26. It will also last for three weeks.
