While once upon a time I believed that World of Tanks was a hyper-realistic military simulator, I’ve discovered over the years that it’s anything but. Since I started at PCGamesN it's crossed over with Warhammer 40k, tank sport anime Girls und Panzer, and the historical TV show Vikings. Actor Vinnie Jones even quit his job as Santa’s chief enforcer to join the game (yes, that one is 100% real). The crossovers haven’t slowed down, either, because now some old-school videogame legends are joining the fray: Duke Nukem and Lara Croft.
