Explore Karel’s Mothership In The First Descendant’s Latest Update

The latest update for The First Descendant is available, and it expands on the free-to-play shooter’s narrative with a new Episodes. Season 4’s first episode, titled “The Great Clash”, brings the final showdown against the archenemyh Karel, the leasder of Qliphoth’s Legion of Darkness responsible for the destruction of Albion.

The clash will take place Karel’s Mothership, which happens to be the new Mega Dungeon. There, players will find Karel, who will not be easy to defeat. In fact, they’ll have to chase her through the dungeon before cornering her for the final time. Each time players encounter Karel, she’ll change mechanics. Players will also have to contend with the dangers of the dungeon itself.

In addition to the new dungeon, the update introduces a new Descendant and a new weapon system. The Descendant, Raven, is the former boss of an Albion back-alley guild. As her name suggests, she’s has a goth feel and even wears a raven-feather suit. A Non-Attribute Fusion, the character uses firearm-based skills and specializes in shield grinding and shotgun play.

As for the new weapon system, Trascendent Weapons features their own firing methosd and visual effects. The base quality rises continuously and will eventually guarantee high-quality drops.

Players also have a new game mode to try out: Trials. This is repeatable content built on roguelite elements.
