Final Fantasy XIV’s Free Login Campaign Is Back If You Haven't Spoken To Wuk Lamat Yet

On January 21, Square Enix will drop the 7.16 Final Fantasy XIV update, introducing a bit of new content to the game. Currently, we only know for sure that it will introduce the rest of the combat role quests, but we’re sure we’ll hear more soon.

Until then, the XIV team apparently wants players who have been away from the MMORPG for a bit to come out and spend some time reacquainting themselves with the game. Today, they announced the return of the free login campaign. Between today and February 6, players who have been taking some time off can log in for free and play for four days.

Each player’s free period begins when they log in for the first time during the event. Keep in mind that once you’ve logged in, the free period will begin counting down and end in four days whether you’ve played or not. Since the event lasts for a month, choose your days wisely.
