Ayaneo is making a new AMD-powered Nintendo DS handheld with an OLED screen

It’s official: there’s a new Nintendo DS-style handheld gaming PC in town. The new Ayaneo Flip 1S DS, recently teased and now officially unveiled, won’t do much to dodge those Nintendo comparisons, incorporating a two-screen display design, built-in keyboard, and game controls.

This new Ayaneo handheld is a refresh of its earlier Flip DS, with a brand-new 7-inch 144Hz OLED major display at the top, coupled with a bigger 4.5-inch LCD display at the bottom. It’s fast, too, with a brand new AMD gaming CPU that could make it one of the best handhelds on the market, depending on how well it performs in the real world.
