This morning, HoYoverse hosted the Genshin Impact Version 5.7 Special Program. The new version, titled “A Space and Time for You”, continues the twins’ story as things seem to be converging. Dainslief is back as the denizens of the Abyss once more seem to have their eye on Natlan. The Fatui are up to their own mechanization as well, causing the Traveler to cross paths with Childe’s master Skirk. And, if that’s not enough, the Hexenzirkel seems to be even more involved in current happenings. At least, that is if the teaser for Nod-Krai featuring Alice can be trusted.

Two new playable characters will be added to the lineup with the drop of Version 5.7. The first is Skirk, who doesn’t actually own a Vision but instead uses the Abyss to power her abilities. The other, we met in the last update – Barbados’ herald and the Deacon in Mondstadt, Dahlia.

In addition to the main story content, Version 5.7 introduces another round of the Traveler’s Tales to the action RPG. So players will want to keep an eye out for those. On an additional note, it was mentioned during the livestream that the devs are looking to make those into permanent events in the future. Here’s hoping.
