SUPERVIVE has exited Early Access with its 1.0 launch, introducing massive overhauls to nearly every system in the free-to-play MOBA.
The update’s central feature is the Armory, a meta-progression system that lets players unlock and collect gear over time — then bring it into matches for more consistent, theorycrafted builds. This marks a major departure from the randomness of traditional battle royale loot systems. Players now earn Prisma, a non-purchasable currency, by playing matches, completing objectives, and placing well. This currency expands the Armory through capsules and direct purchases, creating long-term progression beyond ranked climbs or battlepasses.
In-match gameplay has been streamlined too. Hunters can now teleport to allies, respawn faster, and earn Prisma from extracting at key points on the map. The Breach map has expanded with aerial traversal in mind. Gliders no longer need fuel but can overheat, and a new vehicle — the Skyshark — adds dynamic movement options. The revised traversal system incorporates jetstreams, storm clouds, and abyssal space between islands, emphasizing movement strategy and verticality.
Five new Hunters have been added as well since Open Beta, with three more on the way — beginning with Wukong, who brings stealth, mobility, and clone-based chaos. Hunters like Beebo, Felix, Eva, and others have also been balanced, where powerful buffs or nerfs were needed based on their synergy with Armory effects.
Matchmaking has been split between Ranked and Unranked, with a full ranked reset and MMR system updates to ensure fairer, skill-based pairings. Bots have also been refined or removed, and an MMR decay system helps returning players ease back in. Solo players benefit from reduced squad sizes, better respawn systems, and enhanced self-agency during matches.
Other improvements include a full client and UI overhaul, a new lobby experience, improved HUD, death recaps, updated stores, clearer mission tracking, and a better end-of-game summary. The Arena mode has also been adapted to fit the Armory structure, though it remains secondary to the core Breach experience. Finally, Warm-Up mode now rewards account XP and allows players to test personal Armory builds with a small economy system.
