Yeah, I didn't see this one coming at all. Last week I reported on a few unique (if not bizarre) collaborations like the upcoming World of Tanks Blitz and deadmau5 event. Today we get a tease of one that may seem weird, but it also makes me think, "Hey, there could really be some fun in that crossover."
From the X account for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 comes a tease and a short video that gives no real details besides a "January" release. Yes, Squid Game is coming to the shooter.
An invite you can't ignore 😮

See what I mean? There could be some really interesting things that go along with this collaboration. Perhaps a special mode that isn't 100% reliant on just blasting your way through it? Something unique on the heels of season 2 of the show dropping later this month?
I mean, we're almost guaranteed to get skins and other cosmetics via quests and purchases, and that's fine, but I am genuinely curious what the team comes up with here to kick off 2025 collaborations.
We'll have to wait for additional details, but there's some potential here that I hope doesn't just turn into a paint job on cosmetics.
