Hotta Studios To Launch Tower Of Fantasy MMO Server Without Gacha System

If you’ve been avoiding Tower of Fantasy because of the gacha aspect, you can quit avoiding it – or at least you don’t have to avoid the new server launching tomorrow. Hotta Studio announced a new MMORPG server named “Warp Server”, that comes with an overhaul of the game’s various systems. The server will be independent from the game’s current servers and designed to offer a “pure MMO experience” as well as be more welcoming to new players.

The new server will also launch with the game’s gacha system removed. Instead, Simulacrum and Weapons will be free while items like outfits, accessories, and mounts can be obtained by playing the game. When the server launches, it will feature a daily weapon giveaway and pro team builds. Players should be able to obtain all the weapons within a month.

The server will also introduce a season system with new progression and play modes. Players can earn various rewards throughout the season. Also of interest to players will be the new trade system, which will allow them to trade appearances and resources.

To help new players out, Veteran players can be contacted via the server’s Global Channel. New events will help them catch up as well. What this means for the future of the game, we’re not sure about. But if you’re interested in Tower of Fantasy, it does seem like a good time to check it out.
