Halloween has passed, and Thanksgiving is almost here, which is why now is the best time to start crafting some Winterlights decor in Palia. For those who haven’t experienced Winterlights before, it’s Palia’s Christmas event, where players can buy recipes for some Holiday-themed decor as well as other decorative goodies.
Unfortunately, if you haven’t played during the past Winterlights events before, you won’t be able to buy/craft any of the recipes until Palia’s 2025 Winterlights event rolls around. With December almost here, Singularity 6 should be putting out an announcement about it sometime soon.
For those starting out or recently new to the cozy MMORPG, all of these recipes require pre-craftable materials and gatherable materials, which I’ll be covering below.
Sapwood is gathered from Birch, Oak, and Juniper trees and is the most common type of tree you’ll see in Palia. They’re pretty much all over in Kilima and are also in Bahari Bay. There aren’t any in the Elderwood, though. Oak trees have a very light brown bark and green-looking leaves, Juniper trees have orangish-yellow-looking leaves with white bark, and Birch trees have white bark and green-looking leaves.
Plant Fiber is found by cutting down trees and bushes in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. Cutting down trees in the Elderwood won’t grant Plant Fiber, so avoid the Elderwood if you’re trying to farm it.
Fabric can be obtained in one of two ways: the first is buying it from Tish’s furniture shop at the register. The second is more of an involved process, which involves crafting it. To craft Fabric, you’ll first need a Fabric Loom. The recipe can be bought from Tish when your Furniture Making skill hits level two.
After that, you’ll need some cotton to put into the Fabric Loom. Two pieces of Cotton will create one piece of Fabric, so you’ll need at least two pieces of Cotton if you ever want to craft it.
Glass Panes are another craftable material. To craft it, you’ll need the Glass Furnace recipe from Tish, which you can get at Furniture Making level 2. To craft a 1 Glass Pane, you’ll need 10 stones, which you can obtain by mining ore.
Glass Panes can also be bought from the Blacksmith’s shop in Kilima for 50 gold each.
Copper Bars require a Heavy Smelter to be produced. To craft a Copper Bar, you’ll need 5 Copper Ore. Copper Ore is mined from copper deposits around Kilima. Copper Bars can instead be bought from the Blacksmith’s shop for 120 gold.
Similar to Copper Bars, Iron Bars are crafted from Iron Ore, and five of them are required to craft 1 bar. Iron Ore is mined in Bahari Bay, and also requires a Heavy Smelter to craft, which is an upgrade to the Basic Smelter.
Iron Bars can also be bought from the Blacksmith’s shop for 260 Gold each.
Ceramics are bricks made from Clay. Clay can be found along the edge of Kilima Lake. 2 Clay is required to make 1 Ceramic brick. Ceramics can be bought from the Blacksmith’s shop for 20 Gold each.
Emerald Carpet Moss is found in Bahari Bay along the water’s edge of the Bay of Bahari.
Flow-Infused Plank is obtained from cutting down Flow Trees around Bahari Bay and Kilima Valley. Flow Trees can be told apart from regular trees by their distinctive purple aura they give off. Flow Trees do begin to regenerate after being hit, so new players will need either an upgraded axe or a friend to help bring a Flow Tree down.
Flow-Infused Plank can also be bought from the Foraging Guild Store for 3 Foraging Medals.
Palium Ore can only be mined in the Elderwood and is the second most prevalent ore to be found in the area.
Leather is crafted from Sernuk hide. Sernuks are deer-like animals that can be found in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. A Fabric Loom is required to craft Leather, and 1 Sernuk Hide will make 1 Leather. Leather can also be bought from Tish’s Material Store for 70 Gold each.
Coral is a gatherable material that is found along the Bay of Bahari in Bahari Bay, the same area where Emerald Carpet Moss can be found.
Crystal Lake Lotus is a purple-looking flower that grows near the largest body of water in Kilima Valley. If you’re collecting Clay, you’ll also be able to collect Crystal Lake Lotuses because they are in the same area.
Crystal Lake Lotus can also be bought from the General Store for 46 Gold each.
Acorns are gathered from Oak Trees. Juniper Seeds can be gathered from Juniper Trees. Pinecones are gathered from Pine Trees. Samara seeds are gathered from cutting down Birch Trees.
Acorns, Juniper, and Samara seeds can be bought from the Foraging Guild Store for 10 Foraging Medals each once you reach Foraging Level 10.
That should cover all the materials and how to gather/craft them for the Winterlights Recipes. Next is the Winterlights Recipes themselves.

First up is the Winterlights Antler Mount, and to craft the decoration, you’ll need 20 Sapwood, 10 Plant Fiber, and 1 piece of Fabric. After crafting, you’ll get a very festive pair of sernuk antlers to hang on your wall!
The Winterlights Ball Ornament is a round, gold-looking ornament that you can hang on your Winterlights Tree. Luckily, you won’t need any gold to craft it. The only material needed to craft this ornament is 2 Glass Panes.
For the cost of 1 Copper Bar, you can craft this fun-looking bell as an ornament for your Winterlights Tree.
If you’re a fan of having candles for decorations on your Christmas tree, you’re in luck! You can create a candle ornament for your Winterlights Tree for the low cost of 1 Copper Bar!
Another candle ornament, this one is meant more for festive decor to be placed around your house. To craft it, you’ll need to have 1 Iron Bar.
A more festive version of the normal Palian coat rack, this one has winter clothing hanging on it. If you wanna craft this festive coat rack, it’s going to cost you 30 Sapwood, 10 Plant Fiber, and 6 Fabric.
A nice-looking glass ornament that can be used as a decoration for your Winterlights Tree. 3 Glass Panes and 5 Plant Fiber are what go into the cost of crafting it.
A gold plate with a star in the middle, which can help your dining table have more of a Winterlights look. 3 Ceramic and 1 Emerald Carpet Moss are what’s needed to craft it.
Putting this golden ornament on your Winterlights Tree will really make it shine. To craft this for the top of your tree, you’ll need 10 Flow Infused Planks, 5 Plant Fiber, and 3 Palium Ore.
Wreaths are a staple of the holidays, and it’s not different for the Winterlights holiday. To craft this red and gold festive wreath, you’ll need 10 Sapwood, 1 Copper Bar, 1 Fabric, and 6 Ceramic.
While these gloves can’t be used to warm your hands, they can be used as decor to help cozy up your Palian home. To hang these cozy-looking mittens in your home, you’ll need to craft them with 2 Fabric, 1 Iron Bar, 4 Sapwood, and 5 Plant Fiber.
The silver variant of the Winterlights Bell Ornament, you won’t need any Silver Bars to craft it. Instead, you’ll only need 1 Iron Bar.
A beautiful wintery silver version of the Winterlights Gold Plate, you’ll need 3 Ceramic and 1 Crystal Lake Lotus if you wanna display this plate in your home.
Sticking with the silver theme, this silver wreath can be crafted for the same amount as the first one, being 10 Sapwood, 1 Copper Bar, 1 Fabric, and 6 Ceramic.
While ice skating isn’t something you can do in Palia, you can still hang these pretty cool-looking ice skates on your wall. You’ll need 3 Iron Bars, 2 of any type of Leather, 5 Plant Fiber, and 5 Sapwood.
Similar to the ice skates above, you can’t actually wear these snowshoes, but you can proudly display them in your house. You’ll need 5 Sapwood, 5 Plant Fiber, and 1 of any Leather if you wanna show these snowshoes off.

These colorful and festive stockings can be hung above your chimney with care. To craft these comfy-looking stockings, you’ll need 20 Sapwood, 5 Plant Fiber, 3 Ceramic, and 1 Crystal Lake Lotus.
This candy cane colored ornament can be used as a decoration for your Winterlights Tree. Only 1 Glass Pane and 1 Coral are used up when crafting this delicious-looking ornament.
The staple of the Winterlights holiday, the Winterlights Tree is a wonderful piece of festive decor that’ll enhance any room it's in. If you want a Winterlights Tree for your home, you’ll need to craft it with 1 Acorn seed, 1 Juniper Seed, 1 Pinecone, and 1 Samara seed.

While the gold version of the tree topper is cool, I vastly prefer this traditional wooden tree topper. To place this decoration on top of your tree, you’ll need 10 Sapwood, 5 Plant Fiber, and 1 Crystal Lake Lotus.
These cute-looking Winterlights decorations can be yours to hang in your house for 20 Sapwood, 5 Plant Fiber, 3 Fabric, and 1 Crystal Lake Lotus.
Not everyone wants colorful decorations around their home. Some people prefer more traditional wooden ornaments, and if you’re one of those people, Palia has you covered. Only 6 Sapwood and 5 Plant Fiber are needed to craft this wooden ornament.
That concludes all the current craftable Winterlights decor items for Palia. If you’re missing any of these recipes in your workbench inventory, you’ll have to wait till Palia’s Winterlights event launches to buy them. This year’s Winterlights should launch soon, either at the end of this month or in early December.
