Today, Singularity 6 announced Palia’s next update, Winter’s Wonder: Home for Winterlights. As you can guess from the name, the update, which drops today, brings winter festivities to the free-to-play cozy MMORPG. Specifically, it brings back Zeki’s Winterfest Challenge, introduces new Winterlights quests and the Winterlights Edition Bundle Quest, among other things.
To get things rolling with the Winterfest Challenge, players will need to check their mail. Zeki will have sent a message with hints about the locations of seven chests. These chests contain winter goodies, and once found, the recipes for those items can be purchased from the Winterlights Store. As for the general quests, they will offer new rewards as well, and once again, when the quests are completed, more items will be available in the Winterlights Store. The Monthly Bundle Quest can be found on the bulletin board and will offer themed rewards, including a Winterlights Ashura Ornament and a Winterlights Reth Ornament.
It wouldn’t be a fantasy holiday without snow, so of course, there’s a snowman-related event: Grow-A-Snowman. This event will end on January 13. During the event, players collect Snowman Plushes needed to grow the Snowman overlooking the village into something rather large. The event will also feature Sandy Paws Presents, filled with seasonal décor that players may stumble across while engaged in different activities.
On a less festive note, the update also introduces the reworked furniture tinting system, adding six new tint palettes, The Estate Home Line, inspired by the Mayor’s Estate, Lunar Paths, and a new bear-like ranch companion named Boovar. For those wondering, Lunar Paths is a long-term progression system that’s effectively the game’s version of a battle pass. That means there’s another way to obtain items. And yes, there is both a free and a premium path.
