MMOBOMB
Jan 11, 2024
The Seeds of Renewal update for World of Warcraft launches on January 16th, and with it comes Follower Dungeons, a feature that allows you to queue up for the MMORPG's Dragonflight dungeons by yourself, or with a couple of friends, but finishes filling the party out with AI companions.
You can queue up for Follower Dungeons in World of Warcraft by simply opening the LFG tool and choosing "Follower Dungeons". Once in the dungeon, you can choose to lead the party, assign another player to lead, or let the AI companions lead the way through. Whatever you choose, Blizzard promises that the AI companions will move at your pace, allowing you to explore the dungeon and learn the fights at your own speed. The ability to let the AI Followers lead the way can be toggled on and off anytime while in the dungeon.
The available dungeons include Ruby Life Pools, Nokhud Offensive, Brackenhide Hollow, Halls of Infusion, Algeth'ar Academy, Neltharus, The Azure Vault, and Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made. This case has been settled for $54 million.
