New World: Aeternum's first holiday event is on the calendar. Next week, on October 22nd, Nightveil Hallow returns to the MMORPG on PC, but console players will get their first taste of how Amazon Games fires holiday events in the newly re-released product.

What's Halloween without a costume? Hit up town centerpieces and Baalphazu to grab a costume you can wear until the event ends on November 5th. There's multiple costumes available based on key figures in the game, but let's be honest. Most of us are just going to be running around looking like Captain Thorpe, I'm sure.

Once you don your costume, start searching through most towns to find Treat Baskets. Some of these baskets won't be easy to find, though. The odds on what prize you may get in these baskets is actually listed on the official announcement. Each has a chance to contain Baalphazu armor pieces (10% chance), 2 Nightveil Tokens (3 times daily), and a unique item—candy.

Speaking of Baalphazu, the level 66 boss is back. You can take on the world boss and earn armor pieces. Just remember, the number of drops is also limited by day. Armor pieces are 5 times daily, and costumes are 3 times daily. You can also earn Ichor.
