Marvel Contest of Champions Kabam

Marvel teamed up with Kabam to launch a bunch of fan events and in-game content for Marvel Contest of Champions, celebrating The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

On July 24 and 25, Marvel will host The Fantastic Four: First Steps Fan Event at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood from 6:30 to 7:15 PM before screenings of the film. Attendees can participate in on-site activities, including playing a special quest in the free-to-play fighting game featuring the Fantastic Four vs. Silver Surfer. Players who defeat Silver Surfer will receive an exclusive H.E.R.B.I.E. pin.

Also, a new limited-time game mode titled Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle will launch in Marvel Contest of Champions on July 24. This mode introduces an alternate multiverse experience with new gameplay, music, art, and environments. Players will join the Fantastic Four in investigating Doombot activity while facing multiverse threats in a casual autoplay-friendly format using a new Energy Resource.

Additionally, the game’s Squad Builder side quest is live now through August 6. This new mode challenges players to strategically form the highest-scoring Squad using faction and grade bonuses. Each participant receives 52 free maxed-out 2-star Champions to build their Squad before taking on a final Boss Fight to lock in their score.
