MMOBOMB

Even though Epic Games closed Paragon in 2018, that wasn’t the complete end of the game’s story. As we all know, content creator Robbie Singh and his cohorts founded Omeda Studios and used the publicly available Paragon assets to create Predecessor.
When it launched almost a year ago, Predecessor brought back the original Paragon heroes. But during that time, players haven’t been able to play on the original Paragon map, Agora. That’s changed with Predecessor’s 1.7 update, which introduces the Agora map to the F2P MOBA. The map – rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 – will be available to all players for a limited time via the Legacy Mode in Predecessor LABS.
In addition to reviving the Agora map, the new update marks a significant milestone for the game, as it has passed the lifespan of Paragon. Now, Omeda is looking to the future and planning what’s to come next. Coming updates will take Predecessor in its own direction. This starts with the introduction of a new hero, Renna.
Renna, the sister of Yurei, is a corrupted sorceress who made a pact with the Demon King of Ashkarath in order to gain Riftmagic. This allows her to increase her power during battle by harvesting essence from fallen enemies, including her sister. The same ability allows her to float in the air. She can also leech from her enemies with a tether that drains them and uses the depleted energy to heal herself. She’s a dangerous lady.
