Neverwinter Celebrates The Goddess Of Beauty During The Summer Festival Event

Today, the Summer Festival kicked off in Neverwinter, bringing fun in the sun to the MMORPG’s celebration of the goddess of beauty, Sune. During the festival period, which lasts until August 15, players will have access to a variety of activities ranging from the 5v5 team-based sport Sahha Ball to Summer Provisioning. The latter allows players to recruit a Sunite Acolyte and use reagents obtained via Festival participation to craft special items. Other events include the Summer Feast contest in which players participate in farm activities, a troll fighting contest, and a water fight..

Of course, events mean free goodies, and among the goodies available during this event is the Sunscorch Rune Board mount. It’s like a surfboard, only fiery. There’s also a Dragon Chicken mount up for grabs. I think it might actually haunt my dreams from now on.

Players can also pick up new pets, mounts, and cosmetics via the Petal and Tribute stores. Other items are also available through the Sahha Ticket Exchange. A full list of items can be found in the announcement on the Neverwinter site.
