The most controversial Resident Evil game of all time might be coming back

For me it’s straightforward. The worst Resident Evil games are RE5, Resident Evil 7, Village, and RE Zero. But I’ll concede that I’m an outlier, the kind of edge case who thinks that the remake of Resident Evil 3 is better than the 1999 original. For most fans of Capcom’s survival horror series, the most difficult-to-love game is, and perhaps always will be, Resident Evil 6. Perhaps its reputation has thawed in recent years, and I think we can broadly agree that at least the Leon Kennedy section is good. Nevertheless, new evidence means there’s reason to believe that RE6 is coming back.
