AMD is reportedly looking to seriously take the fight to Nvidia with its next-gen gaming GPU, with the latest rumor apparently revealing some of the key AMD Radeon RX 10090 XT specs. If this leak is true, then AMD is cooking up an absolutely killer graphics card, with a massive 36GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and 154 compute units, making it massively more powerful than the acclaimed Radeon RX 9070 XT, which only has 64 compute units.
As we found in our AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT review, RDNA 4 sees the company catching up with Nvidia in many areas, including decent AI-based upscaling and ray tracing performance. However, the lack of a high-end GPU means Nvidia has the top end of our guide to buying the best graphics card all to itself. AMD currently has nothing to challenge the RTX 5090, but that situation could apparently change with the next-gen GPU lineup.
