Both the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 gaming GPUs are set to be unveiled in just a few weeks' time, but new leaked pricing data for both cards could leave some gamers disappointed. According to several leaked Amazon screenshots, the new AMD graphics card could launch with a price that is at least several hundred dollars higher than previously reported, potentially putting it in direct competition with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti.
If this turns out to be true, it might make it harder for AMD to succeed in its battle to offer the best graphics card for the average gamer. We’re expecting the new RX 9070 XT GPU to compete with the RTX 5070 on performance, but with that card expected to launch with a $549 MSRP, it could be tough for AMD to gain traction with gamers unless performance of its new card is more closely matched to the RTX 5070 Ti instead.
