AION Classic Europe Rise of the Revenant

Gameforge announced Update 2.7, titled "Rise of the Revenant,” for AION Classic Europe.

It introduces the Revenant class to the fantasy MMORPG. The Revenants are Daeva soldiers who were once prisoners of Tiamat’s Legion, subjected to brainwashing and experiments. Breaking free from captivity, they reclaim their memories and return to Atreia — embarking on a path of rebellion against their superiors, driven by a desire to shape their own destinies.

With Update 2.7, players can explore the newly added starting region, Telos, accessible exclusively by Soldiers and Revenants. Telos, created by Siel’s Relic, presents a space where the memories of Tiamat and Daeva Subject 707 converge, resulting in an unstable spacetime flux. However, Revenants face limitations in completing certain campaigns in other regions like Ishalgen, Altgard, Poeta, and Verteron.

The update also introduces new instances such as Sunken Telos and The Red Throne: Telos.

There’s new systems and general updates to enhance gameplay, too. Systems like the Book of Legends and Moreth, Chronicle of Time offer players new avenues for progression and rewards. Update 2.7 includes Legion reorganization features, such as legion campaigns, production, buffs, and minting coins.
