MMOBOMB
Jun 17, 2025
RuneScape’s Crafting skill gets a new cap of 110 (previously 99) in the new update.
This upgrade introduces high-level materials, gear, and training options to the MMORPG. Players can now cultivate mystical Starbloom Flowers to create exclusive cloth, forge items with the newly introduced Platinum metal, and craft new equipment like the Masterwork Magic Armour and Starbloom Armour. Additionally, revamped Porcelain urns offer more elegant options.
The Crafting Guild itself has been overhauled to better accommodate the added content, with improved aesthetics and functionality to match the updated gameplay. There’s a clearer urn-naming convention and quality-of-life upgrades like the removal of gem-crushing risk at Level 50 as well. Masterwork gear has been clarified and expanded too; magic variants now carry useful set effects, and the naming distinction between melee and magic versions makes gear management easier.
Besides the above, several mining-related updates have been included to support the new Platinum material, with Platinum Rocks added to various mining locations and Stone Spirits rebalanced across a number of high-level enemy drop tables. The “It’s Mine! All Mine!” achievement has been split to improve RuneScore clarity, and various Crafting and Smithing urns have been reclassified for better experience tracking.
