This past month, Update 0.8 launched for RuneScape: Dragonwilds — the buy-to-play survival game spin-off of the free-to-play MMORPG.

Players can now enjoy a cozier world, a hard difficulty mode, defensive palisades, a rebalanced building health system, and improvements to lighting and visual effects. Magic Skill Spells were introduced too.

Before that happens though, Update 0.8.1 will include a long-requested pause feature for solo players, improved status effect tooltips, and a more informative compass and day/night cycle display.

Also, many fans expressed concern about the cadence of content updates, but the team reaffirmed that Fellhollow is on track, and quarterly content updates are the goal, with more frequent community check-ins planned.
