Two weeks ago the MY.GAMES team announced that they would no longer be the publisher for Skyforge and that soon, any gods running around in the MMORPG would need to migrate their accounts to the 4game platform run by Innova, the new publisher. That migration period has started and if you plan to still play post-migration, you'll need to get your account prepped.

Honestly, this seems to be one of the easier game migrations I've seen in a while. First, if you play Skyforge via Steam, you really don't have to do anything. The only "step" you need to take will be to acknowledge the new Terms of Service after the next update coming on October 2nd. You don't have to do it THAT day, just the next time you log in after that date.

If you're still playing Skyforge via the MY.GAMES launcher, you'll want to head over to the 4game page and create an account. All you'll do from there is link your existing MY.GAMES account. The rest will be taken care of for you from that point on. You will, however, need to install a new client after the October 2nd update and you won't be able to use the MY.GAMES launcher starting that same date.

All of your data, progress, and other information will make the migration, so you won't be losing anything.

If you're busy, you'll have until September 4th 2025 to actually link your accounts, but you won't have access via the MY.GAMES launcher after the October 2, 2024 date. Your MY.GAMES account will remain active and available for use in other MY.GAMES products. Hit up the FAQ for any additional concerns.

Now we wait to see if Innova intends to make new content for the MMO. After our last piece, we reached out to them and they said they would "consider" adding new content after the migration was complete. That reads a lot like "no current plans" to me, but maybe I'm just being pessimistic.
