Steel Hunters Opens The Mech-Combat Title For A 4-Day Public Test Starting Today

As we wait on a full launch for Wargaming's upcoming F2P mech-combat game Steel Hunters, you can get your hands on the title for a few days effective...checks watch...today. As part of the developer's Publisher Weekend event, Steel Hunters is opening its doors via Steam to anyone who would like to get in and start blasting away. You can also jump in on the official Wargaming Game Center.

The Steel Hunters test will run for 4 days and ends on February 24th. You'll be playing the latest version of the battle royale/extraction game and you'll even be able to net yourself a few rewards by making it to certain spots on the daily leaderboards. Prizes include Steam gift cards and the possibility of collecting a unique permanent Trenchwalker skin.

The weekend event isn't limited to just Steel Hunters, though. World of Tanks, World of Warships, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Warplanes are also hosting events, all of which include opportunities to claim free cosmetics, free VIP time, or cash shop sales depending on your game of choice. Some of those store discounts actually run all the way until February 27th.
