The First Descendant Season 3 Episode 3: Unveiled Truth Revealed In Latest Live Stream

Yesterday, The First Descendant team hosted a new devstream introducing players to the game’s next update. Titled “Unveiled Truth,” Season 3 Episode 3 introduces the new Descendant Dia, who was revealed back in December. The new Descendant is a skill dealer who uses a lance, and she brings with her new, ice-related skills. She also brings new mysteries for players to solve.

The new update brings quite a bit of new content to the free-to-play shooter – enough to warrant a three-and-a-half-hour stream. Other content includes the ‘Exposed Undersea Base’ dungeon, which is a Vulgus base on the coast of Axion. The dungeon features an ‘Infiltration Operation’ with new enemy types and a new elite monster boss that provides benefits when a player successfully dodges attacks.

Players also have new weapons to acquire: the E-Buster and the Eye of the Storm. The former features the ability to increase electric skill power, while the latter is a beam rifle that switches between two modes: Typhoon and Storm. Typhoon attacks eight enemies at once. Storm inflicts heavy damage on a single enemy.

Players can also look forward to a selection of balance changes, a new battle pass, and more. The update will go live on February 5.
