The LOA ON livestream is complete and that means the Lost Ark team is back with a follow-up to their video last week. This time we finally get a look at the roadmap showing us what's coming to the MMORPG in January through March of 2025. Now, this roadmap is a little lighter than roadmaps we've received in the past and Roxx calls that out right at the start of the video. Apparently this is due to the content shown off coming west very close to the Korean launches, so things are still being worked on and developed.
The roadmap focuses more on the content side of things, for now, and doesn't have a lot of details on specific system changes, upgrades, or improvements yet.
We already covered a bit of what comes on the 18th for the December update. However, Solo mode gets two new raids in with the addition of the Thaemine Legion Raid and the Echidna Kazeros Raid. Yes, we'll also be receiving the elixir and transcendence adjustments that Korea is getting this week.
Wednesday's update also adds the Kazeros Raid 2: Prologue, season 6 of Proving Grounds, and the Icy Breakthrough event which will help you progress through the beginning of Tier 4.
Looking into 2025, January will see the actual Kazeros Raid Act 2 drop. The Frontier system will gradually make endgame raids more approachable as time goes by. If you want the ultimate challenge, hit the raids at launch. If you need a bit of an extra edge, then just wait a little bit and the raid will scale down a bit. This will also make re-clears easier as time goes by. Stay tuned for info on the 3rd anniversary celebration as the team will kick that off a little early this year.
February gets the game's next Advanced Class. This time around it is a Yoz specialist and is very nature oriented. You can turn into animals with various ability sets and even summon animal companions to fight alongside you. February also sees new progression events.
March has the fewest details with the team just saying, "we’ve still got more planning to do for March and the later months. Right now, we are planning on releasing the next Music Box of Memories unlock during March, and continuing the progression events to support the release of the Wild Soul Advanced Class in February. We’ll see what else is in store once we reach next year!"
