The Trauma Will Continue In Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 4.4 Update

After the cliffhanger from Honkai: Star Rail’s last version, it’s finally time to face off against dice-head himself, the Lord Ravager Asat Pramad. Based on today’s stream it’s going to be another drama and trauma-filled event. But, hey. Himeko gets a shiny new mech out of it. So I’m sure it all balances out in the end.

Today, HoYo revealed some of what’s to come in the free-to-play action RPG’s July 15 update: Version 4.4, “In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound”. In this update Planarcadia is in rubble thanks to the actions of Asat Pramad. The Lord Ravager has also disappeared with Himeko, and the crew and their friends are split up around the Arcadia.

Version 4.4 will bring one new playable character (Although, she’s not all that new to players.), the SP version of Himeko, Himeko – Nova. The 5-star Fire-type Erudition character comes with her own mech and gifts her teammates with an additional ability. If those teammates happen to be members of the Express they get an additional boost as well.

Himeko – Nova will be available on the first banner of Version 4.4, along with reruns of Sparxie, Dan Heng – Permansor Terrae, and Evernight. The second banner will feature Cerydra, Anaxa, and Adventurine.

The Version 4.4 update will also bring the second Fate/stay night event [Unlimitged Blade Works]. That will drop on July 24 and last until the end of Version 4.6. As with the last event, player will receive one free character. This time they get a choice of a second Archer or can pick up Gilgamesh. The event will also introduce Rin Tohsaka as a playable character. But you will have to roll on her.
