Wargaming loves their holiday celebrations, which is why each of the different World of Tanks games all have something going on. Today, the celebration kicks off in World of Tanks Modern Armor with Winter Fest 2025, offering Xbox and PlayStation players a chance at some winter festivities.
The event is scheduled to run through January 5 and brings back the 10v10 Toy Tanks Mode, which has been extended to run for two weeks. Who doesn’t love toy tanks? Each Toy Tank is unique, featuring its own weapons. This includes a new tan featuring a bulldozer blade. Despite what you’d probably think, this machine is designed for a winter setting; its real purpose is to ram things. So, players should have fun with that.
Also new to the free-to-play shooter in this update is a giant toy robot ally that launches support strikes. Don’t worry too much if it’s destroyed because it will drop the event currency, Snowballs, when that happens.
Once the Toy Tank Mode comes to an end on December 23, the Ice Queen’s Blade cooperative PvE mode will kick off. Despite being locked up, the Ice Queen has summoned Krampus. Players will need to team up with Jack Frost and nine other players to stop Krampus and the threat of eternal winter. Use Krampus’ portals to travel between battlefields, clear minions, collect shards, and eventually face Krampus himself at Frostbit Castle.
The update also introduces four new Premium tanks and new 3D commanders, among other things. A rundown of everything associated with the holiday festivities can be found on the World of Tanks Modern Armor site.
