About
A Total War Saga: TROY is a strategy title published by SEGA and developed by Creative Assembly that arrived on August 13, 2020. The game blends action, turn-based tactics, real-time strategy, and simulation elements into its core gameplay loop. Players can experience the story through single-player campaigns or engage in multiplayer matches with friends. Cooperative play is also available for those who prefer working together to overcome challenges. The narrative takes place in a legendary age where heroes roam freely across the world. The plot begins when audacious Paris, the prince of Troy, abducts the beautiful queen of Sparta. This shocking act causes King Menelaus to curse her name immediately after she sails away with Paris. Driven by his vow to bring his wife home at any cost, the story unfolds around this central conflict.

A Total War Saga: Troy absolutely nails its Bronze Age setting and comes up with interesting ways to make the period work in its grand strategy framework, but its AI has trouble wrapping its head around it.
