ATOM RPG is a turn-based post-apocalyptic indie roleplaying game. It was released on December 18, 2018. The game is set in a world where both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed by nuclear bombings in 1986. Players take on the role of a survivor of this nuclear Holocaust. The game features a powerful character creation tool that allows players to create their own wasteland hero. A balanced roleplaying system inspired by GURPS is used, with each stat combination providing a unique gaming experience. The game also includes dozens of skills, ranging from lockpicking to gambling. Players can explore various locations in the Soviet Wasteland, including settlements, wilderness areas, and military bunkers. They will encounter both friendly and dangerous characters during their journey. ATOM RPG features turn-based combat inspired by Fallout 1 and 2. The game also includes many deep, multiple-choice dialogues that feel like real conversations with unique NPCs. Players can choose how they want to approach the game's quests, as there are often multiple solutions available. The game offers a nonlinear gameplay experience with dozens of quests.
