About
BattleGroupVR is an action, strategy, and simulation title published by SpaceOwl Games and Erabit that was released on July 31, 2023. The developer SpaceOwl Games created this first-person real-time space strategy where players command a fleet from the bridge of their flagship. You assemble your fleet, upgrade load-outs, train captains, engage enemies, and secure the sector while trying to avoid being destroyed. The game supports single-player and co-op modes along with multi-player options for those who want to play with others. As the battle group commander, you lead the charge alongside chosen captains and warships rather than acting as a distant general. You can unlock and acquire various ship types including fast striking corvettes, long-range missile destroyers, electronic warfare science vessels, dangerous carriers, and powerful battleships. Each vessel has its own special abilities, characteristics, and weapon slots that you can equip with heavy cannons, missile launchers, point defense lasers, and other technology. The selection of ships and equipment allows you to customize your fleet for different tactical situations in the sector. Players lead their chosen warships directly into battle from a first-person perspective on the bridge.
