About
Ben and Ed is an indie action adventure title developed and published by Sluggerfly, released on December 8, 2015. The game functions as a single-player experience where players control Ed the Zombie in a dystopian setting. This protagonist must navigate a grotesque game show known as Rundead to rescue his best friend Ben from Hans Showmaster. The gameplay involves overcoming obstacles such as blades, hammers, lasers, acid, dog food, and chicken across twenty-three colorful courses. Players can jump, creep, dodge, and crawl while managing the fact that losing limbs is acceptable for a zombie character. Hidden locations are accessed by throwing the head to recover parts of the body before reaching the final goal. The main story lasts approximately five hours, which extends to nine hours when including extra content. Completing all available unlockable challenges requires about twenty hours of playtime. The experience focuses on surviving deadly traps and defeating monstrous machines despite the character's undead status.
