About

BLACKHOLE is an award-winning hardcore platformer developed by FiolaSoft Studio and published by Fulqrum Publishing. Released on February 27, 2015, the game falls into the action, indie, adventure, puzzle, and platformer genres. The single-player experience offers over 15 hours of story-driven sci-fi comedy alongside gravity-twisting puzzles. Players can also access the free Challenge Vault DLC included with the game. The narrative begins when the crew of the spaceship Endera is sucked into a black hole. Fortunately, the ship crashes on Entity, an unidentified object resembling a planet. The first member to wake up is the guy who makes coffee for the crew, who becomes the player character. Your only ally in this situation is Auriel, the ship's computer's sarcastic A.I. Together, you will need to come up with a plan to fix the spaceship and save the others. The goal involves becoming heroes of planet Earth by closing the black hole once and for all. This task is not easy because the environment includes mysterious caves, lost cities, towering mountains, and deep forests. These areas are full of tricky, gravity-defying puzzles and deadly traps that players must navigate. The game features more than 90 levels across six dimensions to explore. There are hundreds of secrets to discover and puzzles to solve within these environments. The experience includes a fully-voiced sci-fi comedy with a cool soundtrack. Pixel-perfect controls are available for both keyboard and gamepad inputs. The Challenge Vault allows players to select their favorite character and beat records set by other players in an online mode. For 15 weeks, access is provided to new levels exclusively designed for speedrun challenges. Players can participate in a big tournament with other players to become the King of the Vault. The DLC offers play as options for Coffee Guy, Cpt. Jetsen, Selassie, House, Ati, Smusa, Nejfake, or Skelet. A brand new soundtrack composed exclusively for the Challenge Vault is included. The system features a new leaderboard for story levels and the DLC is free for everyone. The main story length is approximately 20 hours to complete. Including extras, the playtime reaches about 29 hours. Completionist runs can take around 45 hours depending on how many secrets are found.
