Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a game that combines action, fantasy, RPG, and adventure elements. It was published by 505 Games and developed by ArtPlay. The game was released on June 17, 2019. Players can enjoy Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in both single-player and multiplayer modes. The game also supports cross platform play and controller support. Players take on the role of Miriam, an orphan afflicted with a curse that causes her body to crystallize. To save herself and humanity, Miriam must fight through a demon-infested castle summoned by Gebel, a former friend whose body has become dominated by crystals. The game features 13 free DLCs that will be released as content updates in the future. At launch, players can access the "Speed Demon" update which includes Speed Run Mode, Boss Rush Mode, and the Pure Miriam outfit. The main story of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night takes approximately 14 hours to complete. If players choose to explore all aspects of the game, including extras, it will take around 20 hours. A completionist playthrough, which involves finishing every aspect of the game, can take up to 35 hours.
