About
Valdis Story: Abyssal City is an indie action RPG and platformer developed and published by Endlessfluff Games. The game was released on October 30, 2013, and offers a single-player experience. Players assume the role of Wyatt in this exploration-focused title set within the ruins of a holy city lost many years ago. Combat involves battling various demons, angels, and a new threat called the Ferals using swordsmanship, martial arts, and sorcery. There are many customizable skills and equipment available to aid Wyatt on his journey. The narrative spans over 40 years following the death of the goddess Valdis at the hands of her daughter, Myrgato. Myrgato has been at war with her twin sister, Alagath, ever since that event, creating a conflict fueled by human souls used to create warriors. Each day the remaining human population dwindles as they are forced to choose a side in this perpetual war between the dark and light goddesses. The main story takes approximately 11 hours to complete, while including extras extends playtime to around 16 hours. A completionist run of the game requires about 22 hours to finish all available content.
