Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is an indie action fantasy adventure developed by ACE Team and published by Nacon. Players take on the role of Pseudo, a master of martial arts who lives as a recluse in this surreal world. Upon encountering the Boy, a small creature with mysterious powers, Pseudo decides to protect him from Gemini, the Mistress of the Artifacts. The world of Zenozoik draws inspiration from punk fantasy influences and features landscapes filled with fascinating characters, creatures, and ancient secrets. Roaming the land allows players to discover various paths and inhabitants while uncovering the sources of the chaotic society. Combat relies on fists and speed, requiring players to attack, dodge, stun, block, and counter parries to land special attacks. Players can switch to a first-person view to perform unique techniques that help them seize opportunities for victory. Throughout the adventure, characters can learn various martial arts and alternate between them based on enemy types and personal preference. Victories improve character characteristics and allow players to upgrade attacks to develop their own combat style. Before fighting, opponents can be challenged to a game of dice where the winner defines the rules of the encounter. Winning the ritual provides opportunities to exploit advantages such as summoning monster allies or covering the area in fog. The main story takes approximately 13 hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to around 17 hours. A completionist run requires about 19 hours to finish all available content. The narrative involves confronting mercenaries and developing friendship with the Boy while searching for Great Artifacts needed to defeat Gemini.
