About
Cliff Empire is an indie strategy and simulation title published and developed by Lion's Shade. The game was released on August 6, 2019, and offers a single-player experience set after a nuclear war made surface life impossible. A thick radioactive fog covering the Earth forced survivors to seek ways to restore the planet. Players join scientists who built cliffs in mountain regions to help rebuild life on the ground. The core gameplay involves managing the economy of several independent cities while trading with an orbital station. You must navigate dynamic climate changes that test the resilience of your urban centers. Choices regarding power supply allow you to select between ecological and harmful options for your settlements. The game includes over 120 structures for city construction and supports 48 additional university research projects to improve infrastructure. Trade involves fifteen different goods, and the main story takes approximately 45 hours to complete. Including extra content, players can expect a total playtime of around 65 hours. This simulation focuses on bold active people who manage the complex process of restoring life to a damaged world.
