About
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is an adventure title developed and published by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. that released on July 20, 2022. This single-player experience takes place at a tropical resort known as Jabberwock Island. Players gather Hope Fragments while developing their Dangan characters through various activities. The game features over 1,000 event scenes and includes new swimsuit outfits for all characters. The core gameplay loop involves collecting money through battles to upgrade equipment before facing bosses and moving to the next island. A significant portion of the experience focuses on the Development boardgame mechanic where players improve their character over a span of 50 days. The main story requires approximately 11 hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to about 16 hours. For those aiming for full completion, the total length reaches roughly 79 hours. Players can also collect collab illustrations drawn for merchandise using the Mono Mono Machine within the game. This title serves as a massively enhanced version of the boardgame originally found in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. The setting allows users to explore Jabberwock Island and engage with an all-star lineup of characters from each Danganronpa game.
